I-Where the workcamp take place?
Zagora is a beautiful town in the south of Morocco, near the Algerian borders . It is well
known by its large desert. Zagora is about 750 km from Rabat and about 250 Km in the south
of Ouarzazate.

II-What is about the project?
The project which will be organized in collaboration between CSM and its local section,
CSM have started organizing this kind of camp Eight years ago, in Sale and Fez and Rabat
and Zagora during the summer period and new year period. Every year we got positive
feedback from the participants and from the partners.
The participants will learn and work deeply the Moroccan artisan techniques to work pottery
and Get Arabic Language and also Kitchen training (during this project the participants
should choose one of these tree topics)... Theses activities don’t require individual skills but it
demands a high motivation from the participants to overcome all difficulties. CSM will
provide you all the materials needed in theses activities. One of the aims of those camps is to
discover the Moroccan culture and history and compare this to yours. The training course will
be in the morning, another’s cultural activities will be organised in the evening (see the
planning bellow).
Some others cultural visits will be organised during this period, and an Excursion to the desert
to celebrate the new year in the Desert will be organised the 29 December .

III-Accommodation and Lodging
The full accommodation will be in a centre. The food will be prepared by the local section
and the volunteers’ themselves.

Ouarzazate and then take a bus to Zagora .Once arrived to Zagora go directly to the above
